The installation method of the KVMS Pro Client is absolutely the same for both Windows and Mac systems. When you download the KVMS Pro for Windows or Mac then you will find that the files are in a Zip compressed folder. You have to extract the content from the zip file to access the setup file on your PC. Now follow the method given below for both Windows and Mac.
Installation
First, open the folder which you have extracted from the Zip folder. Now look for the setup file named KVMS Pro. Right-click on it and select “Run as administrator” now the system will ask you for permission, you have to permit it by clicking on the Yes button.
The KVMS Pro For PC software will get ready for installation. However, you have to fill the form before you can start the installation. A page will appear, here you have to agree to the terms and conditions and select the system language for the software. Now click on the Next button.
On this page select only select “KVMS Pro”, the second is not for everyday home or office use. If you want your PC to become the storage server for all of your security footage then you can also select the second option. Now click on the Next button.
Here you have to select the location where you want to install the KVMS Pro Client software. You can modify the location or use the default location that is Drive “C” > program files > KVMS Pro. Also, tick mark the “Generate Shortcut” and then click on the Install button.
Now the installation will start, wait for the installation to complete. When the installation finishes tick mark “Run KVMS Pro” and then click on the Finish button.
Login to KVMS Pro
The KVMS Pro For PC Client software will open on the desktop of your Windows or Mac screen. Now a screen will open where you can create a password for your account. Enter the password twice and select the auto-login option. and then click on the Next button.
On this screen, you have to select three security questions and enter their answers. Moreover, you can also select custom questions. Make sure you can remember the security questions and the answers. Because in case you forget the password of your account, the security questions are the only method to reset your account password. Now click on the Finish button.
Now login to your account, the username is “Admin” and the password is the one you have just created.

Add Device
The KVMS Pro For PC Client will open, from the home screen click on the option labeled “Devices” this option is located at the top middle of the screen. A drop-down menu will appear, here select “Add Devices”.

Live View of Footage
